Bibiana Vidal Curell

A decade’s long search for spiritual inspiration was satiated when international artist Bibiana Vidal Curell discovered the Russian painters. Although she began painting professionally in 1999 while still working as a nun in her home country of Argentina, she left that life behind, and it was her time spent in Russia that moved her deeply, expanding her vision, and giving her a new sense of freedom.
Bibiana’s paintings, characterized as expressive impressionism, are filled with light and an otherworldly sensitivity for colour… they are raw, spontaneous energy infused with a sense of calm intimacy. Her work can be found in private collections in Canada, Argentina, the U.S., Belgium and France.
