I was immersed in the world of art as a teenager but left my creative endeavours behind as I raised my family and pursued careers in education, business, and internet marketing. Retiring from those careers in 2013, I returned to my youthful artistic passions.
My initial mandate was to create portraiture that imparted a sense of fun for the viewer . This was the result of a conversation that I had with the owner of a prominent art gallery in Key West, Florida who lamented that in the art gallery world there was a portrait void, especially of portraits that were fun. My resultant works are for sale and are on long term exhibit at the International Gallery-Galeria Internacional in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The initial success with acrylic portrait art led me to a wider world of mixed media experimentation encompassing landscape art, animalia paintings, abstract works, and whatever tweaks my creative fancies.
